Ecom Originals collects the minimum information needed to run a useful newsletter. This page explains what that means.

What we collect

If you subscribe, we store your email address, subscription status, consent source and relevant timestamps. We do not ask for your name, company, job title or phone number.

Why we use it

We use your address only to confirm your subscription, send Ecom Originals issues and manage unsubscribes. We do not sell subscriber data or use it for unrelated sales outreach.

Who processes it

Subscriber records are stored in the publication’s hosting database. Resend processes outgoing newsletter email and the technical delivery data required to send it.

Your choices

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You may also ask to access or delete your subscriber record by emailing hello@ecomoriginals.com.

Retention and security

We retain active subscriber records while the subscription is in effect and retain limited suppression information after an unsubscribe so that we can respect that choice. We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no online system is risk-free.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected on this page. If a change affects how subscriber data is used, we will communicate it directly.
